To address the post from last year, a lot of good things happened that month! The most important one being that finally, MasterSword did take some accountability regarding Ryla on UNDERTALE Yellow. He posted a statement written by an anonymous UNDERTALE Yellow developer, who was in contact with me. The post can be found on Bluesky. I've been urging for this post to be posted on the UNDERTALE Yellow accounts for more reach, accountability, and for more eyes on one of the victims's GoFundMe. It irritates me MasterSword was stubborn and only wanted to post it on his personal account, as it feels like he cares more about PR and public perception, but... well, this is admittedly better than nothing. I'll take this, as it is so much better than nothing.
One of my biggest issues was for so long, MasterSword did not discourage (and even seemed to have encouraged) harassment my way. This indirectly led me to being swatted for the second time in my life, the first time being private and in 2024. If it was not for me being swatted already, I could have very well died. The fact the statement condemns my swatting means a lot, and sharing a victim's GoFundMe was a good way as well to show good faith. Harassment has genuinely died down when it comes from the UNDERTALE and Deltarune community after the statement. I'm still heavily wary about allowing myself in these spaces again, especially after the severe harassment from other members in the community being incredibly intense and slanderous, but only time will tell.
On a more personal note, I did address in my last post that I finally understood my bladder problems. I've had an appointment on the 23rd of December where my doctor took a camera inside my bladder. To avoid the gorey details, my urethra was incredibly narrow and I was on the verge of surgery. They struggled to insert the camera in multiple times, and because I opted to be awake (I have a fascination with medical science and organs), it ended up being pretty painful, but worth it. We also discovered that my bladder is pretty irritated. This explained a good chunk of symptoms, which were:
- Frequent dire urge to urinate (caused by bladder irritation)
- Struggling to push urine out (think of water struggling to escape a hose with a narrow opening)
We knew from the CAT scan that my uterus was laying on top of my bladder and compressing it, so it explained in part why I felt like I couldn't hold as much urine, but the irritation of the bladder explained why it felt like I had to go immediately so often. Because they went inside my bladder with the camera, it ended up opening my urethra more. This already has had a massive improvement, and I haven't felt like urine was stuck in my tract for at least a week now. It's a miracle that I don't have to stay in the bathroom for hours now!! I can just. Stay in there for like 10 minutes. There's still some moments in time where I do have to be in the bathroom for up to an hour, as bladder irritation doesn't completely go away, but I do have medicine I'm taking to help with that! Things are finally looking up for me!!
I also wanted to note, my issues with urinating tend to be caught more often in those with penises. As my doctor explained, a small urethra in penises leads to the urine coming out like putting your thumb over the hose nozzle. They get piss all over the toilet seat, the parent takes them into the doctor's and explains, and it usually gets caught and addressed early. However, in folks with vaginas, it's not really caught all that often. Because we sit to urinate, we don't see how the flow is and rather feel. So, I guess I should say it's not normal to have urine come out everywhere and drench not only your private but your ass as well. It also isn't normal to have to change how you sit in order to push urine stuck in your tract. Or to have the bladder of a pregnant person when you're not pregnant. If you have ANY of these symptoms please go to a doctor. I've been dealing with these symptoms since middle school and it only got a lot worse after 2022.
I'm also finally working on the Pizza Tower Wiki again!!! I've missed it. I'm close to finishing re-organizing Peppino's gallery, though there's still a lot of work to be done. I worked on it yesterday for hours and it got my wrist and thumb on my left hand throbbing from pain. A mutual on Tumblr messaged me offering some advice and where to get compression gloves, so I ordered some and I'm looking forward to getting them!!! I could use the gloves anyway, my hands are always cold. I guess that's what being Floridian does to you... make you cold all the time when you exit the tropics...
I went to bed early last night thanks to my work schedule putting in that habit, so I entirely missed this year's first bad news. America bombed Venezuela's capitol last night, and the president of Venezuela was captured. The government in Venezuela is awful but that doesn't justify bombing the capitol and putting civilians in danger. Looks like the promise of "no wars" is off the table... though, we all saw this coming in one way or another, considering the genocide in Gaza, Congo, Sudan...
