When I first made the game, I initially threw together a bunch of stock art of characters I liked and put some text over it, alongside a custom logo I made. As the game got more popular, I had the idea to draw thumbnail inspiration from the people that played the game... I struggled a lot with capturing something that I felt represented the basic idea of a crossover, but I think the last two thumbnails I ever did really captured it.
I really have to thank my friends for collaborating with me and helping manage the game. Without them, I doubt it would have really taken off.
